European Spring

With this miserable weather and winter deliveries rolling in the door it is easy to feel that summer has left me behind and winter is just around the corner.

So I was cheered up to see the beautiful spring make-up palette for Chanel.

The colours are so pretty!

Inspiration from GG in LA and NYC

Last weekend was the perfect opportunity to watch back to back Gossip Girls, the boy was away, it was wet, windy and miserable and I had Season Five in front of my on the little Apple TV and multiple cups of tea.

I am so in love with Chuck Bass that it makes my heart ache. Actually I am not sure if I am in love with Chuck or just his divine outfits that he throws together!

Here are a few of my favourites.

PS The boy is home and has started his own GG marathon. He loves it just as much as I do!

LA Colours. Great jewels!

Oh Blair, my favourite prepster on the show. Fabulous citrus outfit!

They have to get back together!

Ahhhh Chuck.

A getaway to look forward to.

In passing last week a favourite client mentioned an amazing spa experience at The Lost Farm.

After doing a little research I am adding this to my "To Do" list.

The girls said you can literally stretch your arm through the window while lying on the massage table and run your hand through the grass growing in the sand.

Tasmania is like a whole other world isn't it?

Turkish Flavours

Our favourite neighbour has an exciting 2012 ahead of her.

Sevtap is now taking orders for her beautiful "Turkish Flavours" cookbook, so we can duplicate our favourite dishes at home, and also graze over gorgeous photographs of our hometown.

Fashion Royalty

What do you get when your future father-in-law designs your wedding dress? Well I guess that depends on who your future father-in-law is going to be?

If the answer is Ralph Lauren then I guess it is safe to say that not only the dress but everything about the wedding is going to be rockstar!

Loving that not only the bride, but the entire bridal party wore cowboy boots instead of dainty wedding slippers, and Lauren wore blue socks on the day to keep with tradition.

The intricacy of the dress apparently lead to 100 craftspeople spending 3,000 hours hand-embroidering the pearls and small flower motifs to the dress. The result is stunning.

Stop it!
