Belinda's Storey

Welcome to the Belinda's Store blog... a collection of ideas and inspirations that float through my world. They

A warm pineapple welcome!

We're all a little obsessed with the use of fresh and seasonal produce in decor at the moment, so big sister was excited to see the tropical arrangement used a recent tea party held by Easton Pearson at its James Street store.

Easton Pearson's newsletter tête-à-tête arrived with photos of the tea party held for the label's 'nearest and dearest'. Pam and Lydia were on hand to talk with guests about the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection.

Pineapples are traditionally a symbol for 'welcome', and what a wonderfully unique way to deliver a warm and cheerful greeting - an arrangement of pineapples and fortune cookies!

Prep World

Why go to the beach when Tommy Hilfiger has brought an 800-square-foot vacation home to the middle of the Meatpacking District? Right in the heart of MePa at the corner of Little West 12th Street and Ninth Avenue sits Prep World, a pop-up of Hamptons-esque items complete with a lounge chair, picnic table, stacked patches of lush green grass, and even a dog house for Morgan, the Hilfiger's family dog. Inside, cutely curated prepster tees, sitting ducks, and so much more brighten up the store.

Delirious!

At 5:55am this morning I was delirious to see that the Colour of the Month is orange!

It could not be more in line for what we are working toward. I always have the hardest time when someone asks my favourite colour, so this month it will be orange!

Romance with Ralph

I cannot recall how old I was when I was given my first bottle of Ralph Lauren Romance, but this new ad campaign inspires me to wear it all over again.
