Tulips and Anna

This weeks windows were certainly inspired by the hint of spring in the air yesterday. We are all of a sudden waking to little spring birds in our trees, the morning sunrises are full of pink and orange, and the windows can be left ajar when we hope into bed for a breath of fresh air.

Plus I am truly in love with the Anna Thomas label, it is simply beautiful.

Little collection

Was fortunate enough to find a few lovely pieces from St Mary's in Grafton last week. Everything is in immaculate condition. Particularly the beautiful split cane chair, and the gorgoeus laundry baskets.

Spring in Sambag

The new Sambag shoes arrived on Friday morning, and they are so pretty. My favs are the lilac floral and the yellow snakeskin.

An easy way to make things look pretty, particularly when the weather is so bleak. I'm going to team with the Mavi Celine - a 7/8th washed out jean and a little Anna Thomas cardi, with a happy ribbon worn as a belt.

Its a time to bargain and barter: find some treasures & pre-loved goods, textiles, porcelain, lamp shades, ephemera, tableware, stylist-wares, cutlery, small furniture pieces & other flotsam and jetsam will be displayed on the grassy strip outside on the corner of Alexander & Stewart Street

What's left...

This morning I am going to reduce my canvas Walnuts to $10 a pair for the children's and $20 a pair for the ladies style.

Sizes are limited, but it is definitely a great buy. Even if you have to pop them away for the kids for a little while. They look so cute on display in the nursery anyway.

Spring Mela Purdie Window

The new Spring stock for Mela Purdie began to arrive late last week. The shells are fantastic little additions for the wardrobe, particularly for next weeks Winter Racing in Grafton. An easy splash of colour that will carry you through to high summer.

Santa Claus is coming....

It is a little bit like waiting for Christmas to come at the moment. Summer stock is arriving every day and this season's colours are like a breath of fresh air through the store.

Today I am waiting with baited breath for the arrival of a new label to the store, "Anna Thomas". I have been watching (and buying for myself), Anna's collections for the last few seasons, so I am really looking forward to having the label. With beautiful attention to detail including lots of grosgrain ribbon belts (irresistible), and contrast stitching, I am sure that you are going to appreciate it as much as I do.

It's always exciting to pop in and see how the store looks, the windows, the displays, and of course all the delicious handbags and shoes. It's lovely to have friends who report back when I can't be there myself.
