A new edition to the Belinda's Store family.
Today I took delivery of a beautiful antique hutch.
It fits so well into the store, but would be a fantastic feature in any home - for gorgeous blue and white china, or anything else you have collected over the years.
I love having a hutch as a main feature in a living room or kitchen to display all those gorgeous bits and pieces that we bower birds have found over time. Mummy S has a lovely pine hutch in our family home, that we are all so fond of.
The price of the hutch is $1650. Please send through any questions you may have.

Emporium
I viewed the G&S second summer at the Emporium hotel which was great. I have been lucky enough to stay in this hotel which I think is so far ahead of all the old school hotels in Brisbane. One of the greatest things about it, is its location next to Belle Epoque, which I love!
Picked up little chocolate eclairs and macroons for P&B for being gracious hosts.
Day in Brisbane
Busy day in Brisbane yesterday finishing off my summer buying. A fantastic second summer for Morrison with some great twists on their classic Velcro pants, and a new lovely linen line which is going to be perfect for summer in Yamba.
Also viewed second summer for Ginger and Smart and was super happy to see an amazing bold ink and white stripe fabric in all our favourite G&S styles including the classic shirt dress. So happy.
Had a quick lunch of ribbon sandwiches and fruit punch (tastes like fruit tingles) with my dear friend AA. She is just great and introduced me to the Room With Roses in the beautiful Brisbane Arcade (just upstairs from Maryon's).
We had a lovely time chit chatting away whilst eating dainty little sandwiches.

Popped to Grafton
Yesterday we had a lovely lunch in Grafton for the Mummy's birthday.
Headed to Georgie's for a perfect winter day in the courtyard.
Was delighted to have a quick scan through the Grafton Regional Gallery in particular at the Geoffrey Lee collection of works. The exhibition includes images from this celebrated photographer when he was at the centre of the exciting world of fashion and style 1950s, 60s & 70s.
Some really gorgeous shots.

The Hankie Project
As children my brother, sister and I rarely left the house without a hankie carefully placed somewhere on our person or in our little purses. A tradition that both my mother and father still hold on to, from both of their respective parents.
Recently I received an email from one of my favourites: LA (local artist) about the Hankie Project. It is a really interesting blog about the association with handkerchiefs and death. Something that we identify strongly with in our family since the death of our beloved Nana Clark.
When I lived in London one of my favourite gifts to post home was handkerchiefs purchased from Liberty of London for Nana, or from Hackett for Daddy.
