Louis Vuitton have mastered a very difficult art of distinguishing themselves with absolute uniqueness, and yet still incorporating some of the hottest Spring/Summer 2011 trends with animal references aplenty. Using patent leather and satin, the beautifully crafted heels have lacquered animal leg shapes encrusted with crystal.

A very dear client of mine gave me a beautiful cake of soap at Christmas time which we just unwrapped and started to use and it is delicious.

AA and I were very excited to unpack seven boxes of Walnut last week.

Had gorgeous new jewels in the Yamba store by Annie Campbell over summer. They are all but gone, but will have a beautiful new supply early next week.

iPad art

We are Apple geeks in the Belinda's Store world, but I was delighted to read this morning in Vanity Fair of David Hockney's exhibition at the Pierre Berge - Yves St Laurent Foundation.

Hockney uses the Brushes app to create his digital painting and even has his suits tailored with a pocket just for his iPad, which are the same size as his sketch pads.

Initially just emailed to a small circle of friends each day (imagine being on that list!), eventually the circle got much bigger, resulting in "Fresh Flowers".
